Through innovation and collaboration, we’re aiming to help organisations across 10 industrial sectors, from fintech and tourism, to healthcare and agriculture. We want to help you tackle challenges and get better at what you do; improving products and services, and developing new ones.
Our Data-Driven Innovation hubs
Find information on the institutes and research centres that are part of the DDI programme. Our data analytics facility, the Edinburgh International Data Facility is available for the data needs of projects, as are the resources of our five innovation hubs.
2023 marked the fifth anniversary of the Edinburgh & South East Scotland City Region Deal and the halfway point of the Deal's Data-Driven Innovation initiative. In the academic year 2022-23, the initiative enabled 35,000 course completions, secured £127 million in research activity, and supported 41 data-centric technology companies. Read more.
