Scotland’s tech investment showcase has data-driven focus in 2019

Engage Invest Exploit (EIE) 2019 will take place on April 24 and is open to data-driven tech companies seeking investment from seed through to venture capital financing.

EIE Scotland 2019 will take place at the newly refurbished McEwan Hall, bringing together over 900 delegates, around 300 of which will be investors from across the investment spectrum.

Keynote speakers will be Professor Sue Black, passionate advocate for women in tech, and Nagraj Khashyap, Global Head of M12 and formerly of Microsoft Ventures.

EIE is Scotland’s most highly regarded technology investor showcase and the largest event of its kind outside London. In 2018, EIE hosted almost 950 investors, company executives, founders and guests showcasing 60 of the most promising tech companies.

The event connects the most exciting and innovative data-driven companies with investors from all over the world and prepares them for the process of securing investment. Since 2008, companies pitching at EIE Scotland have raised over £650 million in seed and later-round funding.

EIE was originated, devised and is delivered by Informatics Ventures, the tech investment service. Through practitioner-led entrepreneurship education and community networking, Informatics Ventures helps prepare and equip Scotland’s technology entrepreneurs to scale up.
