Students ready to deliver world-class computing skills into business

The Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre (EPCC) – part of the University of Edinburgh – is aiming to help businesses with a funded three-month project focusing on their high-performance computing and data analytics requirements.

The EPCC is hosting a free lunchtime briefing for businesses who want to learn more about its supervised MSc projects, on 3 October 2019.

Students of EPCC’s MSc programmes undertake a supervised research project, either within industry or academia.

EPCC’s students often bring new ideas and add great value to an organisation and, with host companies including the UK Met Office and Edinburgh-based Mallzee, all sizes of business can benefit.

Students will have access to the expertise of an EPCC supervisor and will also have the option of using EPCC’s unrivalled computing facilities, bringing world-class computing skills straight into the partner company.

The MSc projects are an ideal way for companies to explore the competitive benefits of high-performance computing and data science.
